Process of making Frozen Sugarcane
❖ Origin: Fresh cane imported from the farm
❖ Classification: After being imported to the factory, sugarcane will be classified, to ensure that the quality of sugarcane put into production is completely qualified.
❖ Peeling: Sugarcane is put into the peeling machine to completely remove the outer layer. Peeling capacity from 1-2 tons/hour.
❖ Cutting: Sugarcane after drying will be cut into pieces depending on the customer’s request. Normally, the size of sugarcane is cut from 35 to 50 cm/tree. Sugar cane is cut into pieces on request
❖ Washing sugarcane: After being cut, sugarcane is put through a tank with ozone aeration to disinfect the sugarcane surface. Washing time from 15-20 minutes
❖ Drying: After being picked out, the cane is put on a drying rack to dry, ensuring that the cane is completely dry when packed.
❖ Packing: Cane after cutting is packed according to the required specifications. For 35 cm cut sugarcane, it is packed in PA bags before being vacuum sealed and packed in 5-layer cartons. For 40-45cm cut sugarcane, it is packed in PE bags and 5-layer cartons.
❖ Freezing: Sugarcane is frozen at a temperature of -18 degrees Celsius, with this temperature ensuring the center of the product reaches -10 degrees Celsius.
